LATEST RESEARCH PUBLICATION

Our newest research shows that mothers of preterm babies have individual breastmilk microbiomes, and that even short courses of antibiotics have prolonged effects on the diversity and abundance of microbes in their milk.

Health authorities recommend that infants receive breastmilk exclusively for the first 6 months of life. Our new research explores the nuances in breastmilk feeding and how much breastmilk infants are actually receiving.
